The Black Kingdom Trilogy
Adult Dark Fantasy by H. M. Reinhard
Not all heroes are saints. Not all villains are monsters.
In the country of Rökuur, where magick has faded to only a few final incantors, the king has called up the need of the Black Hand. Arix Sable has spent her life slipping nimble-footed into ornate halls, and nimble-fingered into the pockets of those who cross her path. Coerced into the king's competition, Arix realizes that her way to freedom won’t be an easy one.

Welcome To Rökuur
Rökuur, one of the larger countries on the western continent, broken into four realms with the capitol at the center.
The country and its realms are kept under the watchful eye of the King and the mother goddess, Kaoss.
Kaoss and her god-children created this world, crafted it from nothing, and have observed it through the centuries, their stories curled into the everlooping cycle of the seasons.
